An international event that brings together the leading minds in finance, industry, science, art, politics and social organization for a discussion of how various aspects of modern life are affected by technology.
The key goal of LINT is to facilitate a multidisciplinary dialogue on the effects of technology on our lives and future, taking into account diverse cultural heritage of its participants. LINT is an event that provides outstanding networking opportunities for its participants, inspires them to venture into new areas of business, and provides an unparalleled platform that challenges their minds, ideas and preconceptions.
The world needs an international technology event – Moscow, being between Europe and Asia, is a natural place to host it. The newly created environment at the Digital October Center is a testament to Russia's strive towards social change and advancement in technology and education. Additionally, Russia's profound influence and heritage in science and technology support Moscow as an exciting venue for technology and world leaders from Europe, Asia and the US to gather for a discussion.
Over 600 people from at least 20 countries and 200 organizations are expected to attend the conference, with half of participants coming to Russia from other countries. All sessions of the conference will be broadcasted live in English and Russian, expanding the audience to tens of thousands of viewers worldwide.
LINT is organized by the Digital October Center, Telemarker and Kite Ventures – the same team that organized the widely successful TechCrunch Moscow in December 2010.
LINT is supported by Strelka Institute of Media, Architecture and Design, which will host some of the sessions and activities.
This team will make sure that LINT takes its place among the most distinguished international events.
